신앙의 해를 맞이하여 전대사 허용 (산호세 교구)

교황 베네딕토 16세께서는 신앙의 해를 맞이하여 특별 전대사를 내리셨습니다.

본 전대사는 교황력의 시작일인 2012년 10월 11일부터 시작하여 2013년 11월 24일까지 유효합니다. “제 2차 바티칸 공의회 개막 50주년을 맞이하여, 교황 베네딕토 16세께서는 올해를 제 2차 바티칸 공의회의 결정과 가톨릭교회 교리서의 독서와 충실한 묵상을 통한 진정한 신앙의 발전과 그 해석을 위한 해로 선언하셨습니다.” “이의 본 목적은 이 세상에서 가능한 가장 높은 인생의 성스러움을 달성하고, 이를 통해 가장 고결하고 순수한 영혼의 상태를 달성하는 것이므로, 이러한 목표에 도달하고자 특별 교령을 수행하는 모든 이에게 교회는 예수 그리스도께서 친히 교회에 내려주신 권한을 통해 전대사라는 은총을 내려줄 것입니다.” “2012년 10월 11일부터 2013년 11월 24일까지 지속되는 신앙의 해 기간에 그리스도의 자비에 따라 진심으로 죄를 뉘우치고, 고해성사와 영성체를 행하고, 교황님의 뜻에 따라 기도하는 신자는 전대사를 얻을 수 있을 것입니다.

“(A) 거룩한 예식기간 동안 적어도 3회 이상의 강론을 듣거나 제 2차 바티칸
공의회 문헌과 “가톨릭 교회 교리서” 내용을 배우는 교육에 3번 이상

"(B) 교황 대성전, 그리스도인들의 카타콤바, 주교좌 성당, 지역 직권자가 신앙의
해를 위해 지정한 거룩한 곳(예를 들어 복되신 동정 마리아, 사도 또는 수호
성인을 기리는 대성당과 성지) 등을 방문해 성스러운 예식에 참여하거나, 기도,
신심 묵상을 하고, 신앙 고백과 복되신 동정 마리아와 사도들, 수호 성인들에게
전구를 청하는 기도를 바쳐야 합니다.

맥그라 주교는 산호세 교구에서 두 장소를 지정해 주셨습니다.
1. 주교좌 성당( Saint Joseph Cathedral Basilica) : 신앙의 해 전체 기간 동안.
2. 천주의 평화의 모후 성당( Our Lady of Peace Church and Shrine) :
성모 마리아 대축일 그리고 성모님에 관련된 기념일에 한함.

"(C) 신앙의 해에 지역 직권자가 지정한 날에 거룩한 곳을 방문하고, 영성체 또는
성무일도에 참여하여 신앙고백을 합니다. 맥그라 주교는 본당의 날을
지정하였습니다.
"(D) 신앙의 해 기간 중에 본인이 세례를 받은 장소를 방문해 양식에 따라서 세례
서약을 갱신합니다.

또한 병이나 다른 정당한 이유로 인해서 자신의 거주지를 떠날 수 없는 신자는
“ 다른 신자들과 마음으로 하나 되고 교황과 교구 대주교의 말씀이 TV나 라디오로 중계되는 시간에 주님의 기도, 신앙 고백 기도 및 신앙의 해의 목표와 합치되는 기타 기도를 외우는 경우” 전대사를 받을 수 있습니다.

Plenary Indulgence on the Occasion of the Year of Faith
Diocese of San Jose

Pope Benedict XVI will grant to the faithful a Plenary Indulgence for the occasion of the Year of Faith. The indulgence will be valid from the opening of the Year on 11 October 2012 until its end on 24 November 2013.

"The day of the fiftieth anniversary of the solemn opening of Vatican Council II", the text reads, "the Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI has decreed the beginning of a Year especially dedicated to the profession of the true faith and its correct interpretation, through the reading of - or better still the pious meditation upon - the Acts of the Council and the articles of the Catechism of the Catholic Church".

"Since the primary objective is to develop sanctity of life to the highest degree possible on this earth, and thus to attain the most sublime level of pureness of soul, immense benefit may be derived from the great gift of Indulgences which, by virtue of the power conferred upon her by Christ, the Church offers to everyone who, following the due norms, undertakes the special prescripts to obtain them".

"During the Year of Faith, which will last from 11 October 2012 to 24 November 2013, Plenary Indulgence for the temporal punishment of sins, imparted by the mercy of God and applicable also to the souls of deceased faithful, may be obtained by all faithful who, truly penitent, take Sacramental Confession and the Eucharist and pray in accordance with the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff.

"(A) Each time they attend at least three sermons during the Holy Missions, or at least three lessons on the Acts of the Council or the articles of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, in church or any other suitable location. "(B) Each time they visit, in the course of a pilgrimage, a papal basilica, a Christian catacomb, a cathedral church or a holy site designated by the local ordinary for the Year of Faith (for example, minor basilicas and shrines dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Apostles or patron saints), and there participate in a sacred celebration, or at least remain for a congruous period of time in prayer and pious meditation, concluding with the recitation of the Our Father, the Profession of Faith in any legitimate form, and invocations to the Blessed Virgin Mary and, depending on the circumstances, to the Holy Apostles and patron saints.

Bishop McGrath has designated two churches in the Diocese of San Jose: Saint Joseph Cathedral Basilica for the entire Year of Faith; Our Lady of Peace Church and Shrine on the Solemnities, Feasts and Memorials of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

"(C) Each time that, on the days designated by the local ordinary for the Year of Faith, ... in any sacred place, they participate in a solemn celebration of the Eucharist or the Liturgy of the Hours, adding thereto the Profession of Faith in any legitimate form.
Bishop McGrath has designated the following sites: the church or chapel of each parish, mission or oratory, on its patronal feast.

"(D) On any day they chose, during the Year of Faith, if they make a pious visit to the baptistery, or other place in which they received the Sacrament of Baptism, and there renew their baptismal promises in any legitimate form.

The document concludes by recalling how faithful who, due to illness or other legitimate cause, are unable to leave their place of adobe, may still obtain Plenary Indulgence "if, united in spirit and thought with other faithful, and especially at the times when the words of the Supreme Pontiff and diocesan bishops are transmitted by television or radio, they recite ... the Our Father, the Profession of Faith in any legitimate form, and other prayers that are united with the objectives of the Year of Faith, offering up the suffering and discomfort of their lives".
