Christmas is a time to renew our faith and open our hearts. It is also a time to think about those less fortunate. Too many of our neighbors struggle just to survive. Catholic Charities’ annual Christmas Appeal gives you the opportunity to help them help themselves. The faces of poverty are many – vulnerable children, workers who don’t earn enough to support their families, frail seniors, mentally ill individuals and others who desperately need our help. Through a contribution to the Christmas Appeal, you can help them get the support they need to rise up out of poverty.
You can also extend your compassion beyond the holidays by giving a monthly pledge to Catholic Charities. Even a small amount per month multiplies the ways in which we can help end the cycle of poverty. The contributions listed here are examples of the many ways your gifts can change lives for good.
